Quiet Apocalypse :: Zeitoun

tomer :: Entertainment Weekly selected Dave Egger's Zeitoun as their best book of the year. the challenge was to keep the tone subdued-- like a mute apocalypse, the sound of a scream heard underwater. art directed by Michael Schnaidt.

  1. Beautiful... reminds me of a lot of ukioe prints I saw in Kyoto. I really like the Life of Pi poster, too--saw that on your site. But that scene felt a little less "angry" to me when I read it in the print. Thoughts on how you came up with it? Curious. Cheers, DK
