waltz with bashir :: animated documentry feature

we had the honor and pleasure of taking part in the animated movie "Waltz with Bashir", directed by ari fulman, with david polonsky as head of the art department and yoni goodman on the animation. the film was premiered at Cannes film festival a few days ago and got great reviews.

  26. I've been watching the movie with my girlfriend and a friend of her yesterday.
    Everyone loved it , a very few critics were made (more about the use of "real" pictures at the end) ... I was happy to refind the israelit spirit i used to know ... The context of war is very intense ...so much that it remind me the film of kubrick about world war one ("les sentiers de la gloire" in french) ... because of the absurdity of war and the humanity of characters ...
    I recognize your both style (the boat for tomer and specially the scene of the experimental psychologie for asaf ... the kid remind me of the one of bipolar)

    I saw this movie today, it's very impressive, the only thing that was annoying was the last real pictures: it's like as if the people who made the movie thought that animated pictures were not convincing and efficient enough. No, all the animated sequences were more than convincing, more efficient than the "real" pictures, produced real emotions and they did not need the last "real" sequence.
    I know many people said the same thing. Anyway, great job! Bravo!
