about the war
asaf :: couple of frames from a big project almost half finished. these were all done with the wacom, some of the backgrounds contain photographic elements covered by layers of digital paint. more to come

looks great...i love the colors. The compositions are amazing but i wonder why the contrast in the bottom one with the graphic nature of it to add the realistic sky. The mood is great and the images make me want to know more about this story. Can't wait to see the rest.
ReplyDeletethanks. I tend to agree with your comment about the clashing elements, this whole thing is somewhat experimental but as the project grows things fall into place. I'll post more soon.

ReplyDeleteTheres a great cinematic quality to the first image, I love all the blacks and the punch they add to the night scene. I still can't believe you've gone completely digital! It doesn't look like you had a hard time transitioning at all.
