dirties :: comics

a short 10 pages story from the upcoming SOS anthology by meathaus.
loosely based on childhood memories, we co-created this comics, starting by discussing the idea, passing layouts back and forth and finally I(asaf) pencilled and tomer did the rest (inking and coloring).

attack of the summer movie :: New York Times Cover

tomer :: the brief requiered a broad overview of Summer Movies as a phenomena rather than zooming in on a specific flick (I mean sequel). Jaws comes to mind, since it's such a classic adrenaline ride, but more so it's iconiclly located on the beach- the traditional summer signifier. some initial ideas of a film camera with a fin eyeing the beach were scraped in favor of this sketch bellow, going for a light hearted scale switch playing on the nature of these movies- big, exciting, silly.
